Also, as you may have noticed from the first picture, I am one of the Drum Majors for BUGWB! I absolutely love my job. I’m pretty talkative (no really, ask anyone!) so I love being a kind of liaison for the band and talking about how much I love it. I’ve always enjoyed the leadership and responsibilities that go along with being a Drum Major, and it really is a blessing to lead such a wonderful group of 285 band members. Not to mention I love working with Brittany on staff. We have so much fun!
What's another great thing about being in Tau Beta, you might ask? Kappa Kappa Psi! These boys are so much fun and always a blast to be with. They have just as many diverse personalities as we do (can I get an AMEN?!) so there is never a dull moment! And speaking of KPsi… I am currently dating one c: Any Tau Beta can tell you that it is SO common for at least a few of us to be dating KPsi’s. We just spend so much time with them we can’t help it… haha!
His name is William McKee. He is a Church Music major, plays the trumpet, and is on Staff this year, too! We have been dating a little over a year and a half and are really happy together. The way he actually asked me out was the coolest part! We liked each other all during the MEP, but decided it wouldn’t be good to start dating when were so busy. So at the beginning of March, right after we had just crossed over, I knew it was coming. And Will, who likes to always go above and beyond, had to do something special. So he actually had me come meet him outside of my dorm and surprised me by inviting all of his brothers in Kappa Kappa Psi to sing to me! It was especially cool because he also told all of my sisters in Tau Beta to come watch it all happen, so everyone was there!
So the reason for me telling you all of this is because I’m just so happy knowing that I made the decision to be a sister in Tau Beta Sigma. I have my sisters for life and will ALWAYS cherish the memories we have made together. I don’t know what I would be without them.
I LOVE YOU, IOTA!
