I can't wait for what this semester has in store for me and my sisters.

This is Katie(aka Jupiter...or is it Juniper). Summer is now over, and it is once again school time. I am really excited about this semester as classes get started up again about what will be learned, and the opportunities I will be presented with. This past week was preseason week for band and it was a lot of fun. At the end of the week we got to go to the new McLean stadium for Noche Del Oso. Its so nice and we get to sit behind the end zone. During the rehearsal Marina finally got me back for pouring water on her during our MEP, but in all honesty it was really refreshing. Although the semester has just started things are going on. We had our first rush event at Bahama Bucks (YAY snow cones), and the homework has started to pile up but it is nothing we can't handle. We have our first football game on Sunday in the new stadium and I could not be more excited about it!! Its going to be a lot of work this semester but it will be well worth it! My big Jules also just had a birthday!! She is now the same age as her little (love you Jules)!

So for those of you who don’t know, I planned to stay in Waco for the Summer but one weekend I went home to watch my dog for the weekend while my parents were out of town and for some reason I didn’t come back for 2 MONTHS!!! While I usually love being at home with my family, this time was difficult because I didn’t know if I would be able to come back to Baylor. I was seriously looking to transfer to a college that was closer to home because I didn’t know if I could deal with the stress of transitioning from child to adult without my family anymore, and then something happened. I was reminded that I didn’t have to. My family will always be there for me no matter where I am and although it took some reminding from my beautiful friend, Hannah (SHE’S SO COOL) my family includes my TBS sisters. After this realization, I realized that I did want to finish my education at Baylor and that is when I made my way back to WACO!!! Even though I was gone for two months, it felt as if I never left at all. Hannah, Lori (SHE’S SO COOL TOO), and I found an awesome schedule that included working out (well they did anyway, I wasn’t having any of that), cooking dinner, and just being the coolest cats you ever did know! Something else happened this summer, I BECAME AN A- LIST CELEBRITY. For real. I’m not even joking. Hannah and I be up in the club like “heyyyyyyy.” Well anyway. That’s all I really wanted to say but I’m more grateful than ever for my place in this sisterhood. Love you guys and I hope everybody has a safe and wonderful rest of summer. I’ll leave you with this picture of my stepbrother and I awkwardly pointing out something in the distance. PEACE OUT.
