Hey guys and gals! I don’t think it comes as a surprise to anyone that being the president of a chapter of Tau Beta Sigma is a busy busy job, but lately I feel like things have been extra busy for me, so I’m just going to give everyone a little bit of insight of how we’re doing things as of late (and some things that I’ve been doing during the last few weeks that make it a little more crazy)! Since then I’ve been busy planning for SWD Convention 2K15 (can I get a HOLLA for not hosting it this year? I’m still tired from last year…), working concessions at Waco Hall, baking for reception, studying for my many tests and quizzes this week, finishing labs, getting ready for Beta Alpha and Iota Day (!!!), and trying to find sleep wherever I can get it.

Hello!! I’m Elyse from the MC Class Mousketeers Spring 2013. I have been given the joy of having both a little brother and a little sister this spring and so far things have been great! I love my littles! My little brother’s name is Cole and he is one of the sweetest people ever. He’s really into dancing- he’s actually in the swing dance club. He also really likes turtles, which is great because, I mean, turtles are obviously superior to all other animals. My little sister is Charity and she is a sweetheart as well. From talking just these past couple weeks I have found we have a lot in common. To start off, we are both from out of state (she’s from Montana and I’m from California). We are super busy people as well, aside from the MEP and we’re both taking 18 hours! I know, we’re pretty crazy. The first week we had about 15 study hours together, although occasionally we would break into conversation, talk for an hour, and then realize how long we had been talking and get back to work. We both love to talk and will talk about pretty much anything in general. She’s been an over-achiever and is already doing her one-on-ones with members of the sisterhood and started some of her long-term assignments. I’m a proud big :) With the new editions to my family and several others, my big, Heather McGowan, now has a huge lineage (as if it weren’t big before). This is most of us at joint reveal, minus those who have already graduated. Hope you guys are thinking about ALL your great MEP memories, too!
MLITB <3 Elyse Hey guys, it's Marina! I want to introduce you all to my little- Clare Ordemann! She’s my little star! (NEWEST ADDITION TO THE STAR FAMILY! <3) Random, Cool Facts about Clare- · Oboe Performance Major · Allergic to Peanuts · Learning Japanese · Loves to eat healthy · Can make amazing (healthy!) blueberry pancakes · Her laugh sounds like a Guinean pig (it’s so cute!) · I’ve lived with her for two years now! I can’t wait for everyone to get closer to my little! She has such a kind heart; I don’t know what I would do without her in my life! Clare, I wish you the best MEP and can’t wait to possibly have you as a sister!
Love you little! <3 Marina The Membership Class of 2015 would like to introduce ourselves! We are all very excited to start our journey through this wonderful organization of music and service. The three of us are very different, but all passionate about music and helping others. Through our mutual love of coffee, our class name became the Beanie Babies… You know like coffee beans! Our class colors are coral and teal. Our class is small, but mighty; we are diverse, each one of us has unique gifts to offer. So here is a little about us: Clare Ordemann, sophomore from Duncanville, Texas MC name: Mocha Big Sister: Marina George Big Brother: Victor Larson Instrument: Oboe Major: Music Performance Favorite Snack: Buttered toast with cinnamon and honey :3 I have no favorite real food. Mostly anything chicken with tasty veggies! Favorite Music: Outside of classical, mostly rock n' roll/metal and soulful songs. I really love to play the oboe, but when I’m not doing that, my hobbies are reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends. An interesting little factoid about me is that I am half Japanese and lived in Japan for a few years when I was little. Charity Ratliff, freshman from the small town of Hardin, Montana MC name: Latte, which is her favorite caffeinated beverage (French Vanilla) Big sister: Elyse Whitmarsh Big brother: Brooks Moore I hale from two parents who are music teachers, and a brother who is a vocal music performance major (opera). I was in BUGWB last semester, and a proud member of Bonesquad! I love ice cream and coffee, and pretty much anything with strawberries. Reading, swimming, and just hanging out chatting is among my favorite things to do. My interesting fact is that my mom and I started a frog collection when I was little and so now I have a bunch a cute frog stuff; it symbolizes Fully, Rely, On, God! Hey! My name is Alina Zia and my MC name is Espresso! :D I'm a Freshman Pre-Med Neuroscience major from Houston, TX! When I'm not overwhelmed with BIC readings or Pre-Med classes, I'm probably drawing, dancing with Baylor's Swing Dance Society, or reading for fun! I also enjoy playing video games, browsing the internet, and debating which Disney princess is the best. I have a little brother and a cat back home! I'm currently reading The Rosie Project, and my favorite TV show right now is Criminal Minds. That’s our little clan! We are all very excited to work towards the goal of being a Tau Beta, and joining your wonderful organization <3 |
