Hey guys, its BJ (aka Rosemary from Spring 2014) and a lot has changed since you guys last heard from me. For one thing, I’m back to being a journalism major. Another big thing, as you probably already know, is that I have a little! I have been doing my best to get her addicted to the things my bigs got me addicted to, and so far it has worked pretty well. We have spent time bonding over anime and video games because, let’s face it, she’s my little of course she is a nerd. Both of my bigs have officially graduated, Kelsey in the fall and Victor in the spring. I’m going to miss them a lot now that they have graduated, but I’m really proud of them. Kelsey is going to be continuing her education at one of her top two choices, A&M, and Victor is currently in Spain. As for me, I have another full year and two summers left. I’m actually doing one of those summers right now, taking world literature, photography, and editing. Not all at the same time, though. Each have their own semester. Its been a lot of fun, and I’m not going to lie but it gets stressful at times. One of the things that has definitely helped me through all of it is my family here at Baylor. These are easily some of the best people you could meet and they are definitely some of the best friends a person could ask for.

Hey y’all it’s Eugenie! This Sunday we had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with Janet West Miller, Karon Miller Hammond, her husband, David Hammond, and Diana Meyer. It was an incredible opportunity to speak with two former national presidents and a previous chapter president. Janet spoke about the founding of Iota and her time in the Golden Wave Band. Although things have certainly changed since Iota’s founding, some things always stay the same. The friendships that we make in Tau Beta Sigma are truly lifelong bonds; I am beyond amazed by the legacy these incredible women have set for us, and I can only dream of living up to such a high standard.
On an unrelated note: I am so excited to be completing a research position at the Balcones Canyonlands this summer where I’ll be looking at how prescribed fires affect the CO2 output for the region! I’ll also be completing a fellowship at the Texas Hunger Initiative where I’ll be joining in on their Listening Series to assess hunger across Central Texas. SIC ‘EM BEARS :D Hey guys this is Marina! A lot has happened since the last time I made a blog post! This semester I am Vice President of Education and got the amazing opportunity to train these lovely ladies! They worked hard and learned what sisterhood really means. These are photos from after 3rd degree with the Harmonic Goddesses! They warmed my heart so much and I’m so excited for them to be members now <3 Another exciting announcement- I got another little this year! <3 Lauren is now a member of Kappa Kappa Psi and I am so proud of her! This is my favorite ice cream in the whole world and I am so happy it is back it’s been almost a year since I have had it. I have only eaten about 5 bowls of it in the past 2 days, but it’s alright because I have some serious catching up to do. I was first alerted about this exciting news by Elyse and it is life changing. I don’t even care if I get fat it’s completely worth it!
And Easter happened it was cool I went home and I got to be in charge of the Easter egg hunt for our family. I hid the eggs to well though and there is still one missing it is large and green and full of cookies and cream candy sooooo whoops. Hey everyone! It’s Megan again. Currently, I am typing from the old desktop computer at my house. I decided to go home to Liberty Hill this weekend for Easter. In the picture above, I am sitting with my dog Jasper. He is a yellow lab and I have had him since I was 14 years old. I love coming home mainly because I love my family. My family is freaking awesome and hilarious. I love it! Below is an old family photo that I find funny. On the far left is my great Uncle Mike and next to him is my grandmother. My father is the man in the middle (he looks like he is in the Mafia or something) and below him is ME! My mother is the woman holding little brother who was about a year old at the time. Anyways, that’s only some members of my family, but I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend!
