Life After Baylor

Hello!

My name is Jenny, I am a alumna of the Iota chapter. I am a member of the MC class Sugar Rush, my name is Snickerdoodle. I joined Tau Beta a little later than the rest of my class, as a junior, and I graduated in 2012. My big sister is Nachelle Wilson and my big brother is David Corkill. This is a post mostly about what life is like after Baylor. After graduating from Baylor I moved to Washington DC and earned a master's degree from George Washington University in museum studies. I got to see some really cool things while living there, including the 2013 inauguration of President Obama.

I joined the Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Association and hope to go hang out at some district conventions in the future. I love getting the alumni newsletter to hear about the awesome things going on in the sorority!

I currently live in Farmville, Virginia (yes that's a real place) and work for Longwood University. I am the exhibition manager for their art museum! I design their exhibitions and take care of their art!

We've recently had a lot of snow so here is a picture of my corgi Wava (Judge Wava Baylor Starr Bates III) in the snow!!

Recently Sara Bitting (Sugar Rush) and I went to the dedication ceremony for Wava Banes Turner's memorial garden. It was such a fun road trip. Sara is one of my dearest friends and we don't see each other much, so it was great to spend a day with her!

I love that even if I haven't seen my sisters in a while when we get together it's like we haven't been apart!
