Before I go, here is a cute picture of me and my cousin from when I spent a week and a half in Washington State with them during break.
Hi friends, Ashley here. It is week two of the semester and things are already in full swing (this semester has NO chill). I’m already ready for another break. While it is crazy, things are about to become super exciting. Friday, we have Formal Interviews and after that the MEP will be in full swing! I’m so excited to see what an amazing class this year will bring! Thinking back to my MEP (it was just last year) has me excited for everything that is to come!

Hey there, it's Casey! This break was fantastic with the win by the Bears at the Cactus bowl and the great time that we all had at the Grand Canyon! But now it's time to get back into the school mindset, I know that for me it's been kinda hard!
But we've had some fun this week, too. We had an event at the Mayborn Musem and it was super fun for everyone! It was a great time to catch up with all of the TBS sisters that were there, and learn more about some of our potential members! Hey there! I’m Casey, a junior Professional Writing major Creative Writing minor. The past semester has been crazy! I’ve had so many projects and assignments that it’s gone by in the blink of an eye.
What has been happening recently? Well, last week we had a disappointing and embarrassing loss to TCU. That whole Saturday was just really rough. We’ve also been doing weekly study nights, which has been a blessing for me. I need to held accountable when reading Victorian romance novels! I have so many projects due recently. Essays, tests, group projects and presentations, it’s all been very hectic for a while. And I have the distinct feeling that it’s going to be this way until the semester ends. But, I will survive and make Gloria Gaynor proud! Hello everyone! I’m Maisha but most people call me Shishi. I am a junior studying forensic anthropology with a math minor! I must say these past couple of weeks have been ridiculously crazy with seemingly endless assignments, test, and lack of sleep. But when it comes down to it everything isn’t as terrible as it seems. Band has been really fun this semester, we recently had our annual band Olympics! My favorite activity was dodgeball, the tubas got 6th which isn't all that bad I guess. Since the French horns won, they got to throw a pie at Dr. Obado at the very end! There was also our first full band away game to UT this season, and oh man was that a rough game. We were screaming our heads off, especially towards the end, and I lost my voice so now I sound like a frog. Oh yea, Matthew McConaughey was at the game too! All in all, the trip was really fun. This week I have 3 tests and a quiz so I will be an active member of club moody and frequent customer of Starbucks. Thankfully, on Tuesday night we had a giant study “party” with most of the sisterhood and potential new members. That could not have come at a better time because seeing everyone else cranking out their homework gave me motivation to get my stuff done also! In other news, I have NO TESTS NEXT WEEK!!
Hey guys! We’re halfway through the school year, and wow am I scared, but excited! I’ve been taking on another 18 hour semester, this time making me ineligible for BUGWB, but hey, that’s okay. I’ve been missing BUGWB, but there’s concert band next semester, and then BUGWB for sure next year! In speaking of hours, I already got my graduation advising, which is weird because I’m only a first semester Junior, and I have at least 3 more semesters before I leave (not including my planned summer term). It makes me wonder how everything has gone by so fast… Since I haven’t been involved in BUGWB, the way I’ve been getting my exercise in is by going to Orangetheory and burning a ton! I’ve tried on my Courtside Jersey from last year, as well as my Tau Beta Sigma Jersey, and both fit a lot better than when I got them last year! I’m not done with my progress as this is just the beginning, so we’ll see how everything ends up in about a year or two from now! Also, I’m finally leaving the teens on October 25th. I don’t feel like anything is gonna change though. I think my humor just gets weirder every year. I got myself the new Dance Gavin Dance album on Vinyl as my gift, and I don’t regret it! Jon Mess is a gift to us all! <3
I can’t think of anything else, so I hope everyone has been having a great week! |
