I'm Jenny Bates an alumna of our lovely chapter of TBS. I was a member of the 2011 MC Class, Sugar Rush! My class name was Snickerdoodle. My Big Sister is Nachelle Wilson and my Big Brother is David Corkill. I didn't have any littles but I did serve as the VP Education for the lovely Sole Sisters (MC Class 2012) and I love them all like they were my littles. (Hi Nicky, Kelsey, and Hillary!)

I joined my junior year and served faithfully as a sister until I graduate in May 2012. It was only about a year but it was my best year at Baylor! I met my best friend and have so many relationships that have come from it even post Baylor!
After graduation I moved to Washington DC to attend The George Washington University and worked on earning a Master's in Museum Studies. I loved living in DC and learning about how to better serve the world by helping people understand science, history, and culture through museums. I had the opportunity to attend classes at the Smithsonian and intern at places like the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
DC was lonely sometimes without all my lovely sisters but thankfully they were never farther than a snapchat or skype call away. It helped that I had my awesome corgi, Judge Wava Baylor Starr Bates III with me :D. But you can call her Wava for short.

I just graduated in May and have since returned to Texas. I'm loving being at home with my family after two years of being away. I am applying for jobs all of the country (so if you need a museum exhibition designer *wink wink*) and waiting for God to point me in the right direction.
Until then, I am just enjoying my opportunity of being home and hanging out with other Tau Beta alumni. I can't wait for the Alumni Day in September and I just got tickets to the Homecoming game! See you all then! Sic 'Em Bears!
